Emma Cook, CHES is a Community Health Educator with the Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership at El Paso County Public Health (EPCPH). She received her Bachelors of Science in Public Health from Winona State University in Minnesota, and shortly after completing her degree, she became a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Emma came to El Paso County Public Health in July 2017 from Kane County, Illinois, where she worked as the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coordinator. Prior to that position, she was a Community Health Specialist at Kane County Health Department. She has experience in a variety of public health initiatives, including chronic disease, tobacco, and early childhood health. Her passion has always included working with youth populations.
