Don’t burn down your village: wisely use data to learn, improve, and have an impact

In Ken Miller’s book, We Don’t Make Widgets, he uses the analogy that using performance measures is like playing with fire. You can use fire to stay warm and cook your food...or you can burn down your village. This session focuses on how to safely and effectively use performance measures both internally with leaders and staff and also externally with partners and stakeholders. Perspectives and practices from different agencies will be shared.
